NEW!! Face update!

So I told you guys a few blogs back that we are wanting to go to PA! well that is not the news I got for y'all today, sorry : ( I wish it was tho, anyway you need money to move right! Well I got a baby sitting job from 2 am till they got on the bus.

They are the cuties little ones out there, and it was sad watching the little but heads get on the bus, I did not cry but it was sad. Anyway so now we can start saving for the PA trip since we are both working. I am still looking for other baby sitting jobs because this one is not going to cut it but its a start : ) Wish me luck!


So I made this blog to tell y'all about my struggles of my face and I have missed a few months of telling you whats been going on so lets back this train up just a bit and go back to my birthday.  I turned 19 on the 28th this year and instead of cooling down in the nice a/c like everyone imagines to do in fl on such a hot day we ended up having a crappy day! Majorly crappy!  So we have major scum lords for our land lords and they do not want to fix anything. Well the a/c went out on my birthday and they said they would fix it, did not happen till the day after!

I wanted a home made Ice cream cake so this is how that went!

It got really hot in the house that side effect one started to happen, face starting to swell. 
Every time my face has started to swell, well that is when it starts to paralyze.
So we had all our fans going and that was not doing anything, It was colder outside then in the house! I ended up washing my truck just so I can get into the water, even stood in the shower for a bit. Nothing was helping. They made me my favorite food for dinner and I could not even eat that. My mom dad and my boyfriend had to break down and get a small a/c unit that we stuck in the living/dining room. In the dinning room we put up blankets to block off the kitchen, hallway, front door, pretty much just put me in a tiny room. They gave me my pain medication because next thing you knew side effect two started. Head pain ( This is not a head ache). So now from there I was loopy. They kept making me stick my face in a freezer yes the freezer. Finally they just wanted me to go to bed and they mad sure I had the ice pack on my cheek the whole time. 

Its been so hot outside that they wont even let me go spend time with my bunnies, let alone go do laundry.
Our washing machine is in the shed and we have to hang dry out clothing cause to run the dry is a lot of money, witch all of us know about money problems lol. Well My boyfriend does all the stuff outside for me until we can finally figure out what is wrong. 

Please spread the word every one. There might be people out there with the same thing I have, or a doctor that might have a clue. I am working with shands Hospital but they can not even figure this out.. All I ask is to spread the word. We had no idea what causes my episodes, we have done allot of research, seen allot of doctors. We just do not know what else to do. I even wrote Ellen (one of my favorite shows) hoping maybe she can get the word out. So I do not have cable and will not know if she does tell. So maybe some time soon, someone will be able to help.. Escaped!!! No!!!! Get him!!!!

So by now y`all know I have a little farm here, well not everything goes smooth, and you are always learning something new.

So Recently I bought the bunnies (Recent post), well everything was going good. We built a penn so they can run around in and they started mating, so i decided to leave them on the ground. She has already strated digging her holes. Around the fence we dug down about a foot and put wood so nothing can do in. We did not really think about something getting out.

She kept on digging deeper and deeper and we just thought hey thats all shes doing is going down.
Well the other day I ran out there because there was a big storm coming in, A big one on top of it all. So I am walking out there and there is superman just hoping but he looked close then normal. I got about 10 feet in front of him and about four feet in front of me was a hole. A deep deep hole.

I tried by myself to catch him. Then I thought maybe running him into the whole he got out of, still did not work. So i ran back to the house and can barley see him, I was afraid  if I went in for back up I would loose him. I did the next best thing. Opened the truck door and started laying on the horn. After a few tries finally mamma came out.. Ran back over and dad saved the day. Now they are in the cage till I dig out the Penn about 4-5 maybe 6 feet down and put wood or wire or something down there , as of the sides too, then fill in the whole so they have a place to dig. But they will not be released until I bunny proof the pen.

So we now have to come how cave this long and deep hole in. Who wants to help. It will be some fun : )

Boat fishing

OK so this weekend my boyfriends coworker called us and asked if we wanted to go fishing, but on the boat instead of on land. Lets just have a tiny little flashback of my past of being on boats, its not a long story at all, I have only been on a very few times.

Few years ago I went out for the very first time, to be truthful it was a canoe.

 When we finally got out there, where we wanted to be, (not very far out but you could not see land) we started getting out and going swimming all liked plan, the water in the open channel was a little ruff but where we were was nice water surrounded by many trees and plants. It went all good right. We brought one phone out there with us, so in case something happened. Well his grandmother never called to let us know the storm that was going to miss us made a complete turn and was going to hit us.  The next thing we knew it was raining and then the lightning. Fun right, NOT! lets make matters worst why don`t we. Metal canoe, the metal fold up chairs we brought with us, 3 metal rows, (at least we had one wooden one), the waves from the open water coming right into the boat, my sister screaming are we going to be okay, rain coming into the boat, so my friend was the only one rowing the canoe because we only had the wooden one and i sure am not holding a metal one already in a metal boat! To makes matters worst, I had to start throwing water out of the boat, with the one boot we had with no holes in it.. We made it out safe..Oh and I did not shit myself, there`s a plus : )

The second time was last years 4th of july.  We where right off the shore watching the fireworks and by a little island. When I say little I mean little, One tree on it and 4 or 5 monkeys, Maybe enough room for 2 or 3 more monkeys, maybe! They are mean too, this is why the local restaurant throws the food to them now instead of going onto the island. Well anyway, the owner of the boat decides hey lets feed the little fellas some crackers, was not the best idea. The monkey start climbing on his arm and bit him, I was in the back just about to jump off the boat and swim back.

So yall can imagine how my feelings where in the back of my mind, but I am for sure not a chicken shit and I figured hey the third time might be the charm, not know what the charm was I was hoping for! At least this time nothing bad happened. This time I completely fell in love with being on the boat, took me a few to get use to walking on the thing.. It was not small small but small. The boys were just laughing at me, and making fun of me. well by the end of the few hours we where out there the laughs turned around, I caught 6 fish to both of there 2, but only one was legal size, the rest where half inch to a inch to small, but I still caught the one to bring home.

New bunnies

So today I got my new bunnies and I can start breeding them. One of them is a Cali and the other is a new zealand. When we picked them up they were the cutest things ever. They are in there new home now, and they seem to like each other already.

This ones name is superman, male Cali about 12 weeks old.

As soon as we put him into his new home he feel in love. It was perfect for him

This ones name is snowball. Female new zealand.

The car ride home. Yes they are in a seat belt..Buckle up!

Here are some fun facts about rabbits:

1. The male rabbit is called a buck and the female is called a doe.
2. Baby bunnies are called kittens.
3. Wild rabbits generally weigh between 2-3 pounds and are up to 16 inches long.
4. Rabbits raised for mean can weigh up to 8-12 pounds.
5. In the United States there are 12 species of rabbits and the eastern cottontail is the most common. 
6.  A rabbit can run up to 35 mph.
7. Rabbits are born with their eyes closed and without fur.
8. Rabbits have long ears which can be as long as 4 in..

Drunk Drivers

                                                              

I know this is a very serious topic now a days, but it should be talked about more then it is.
So today I was driving Chris to work (hes my boy friend) and there was this guy driving a pretty good ways ahead of me but he was doing like 30 in a 55. He was all over the road, and when I saw him all over, and  I mean all over. There are two lanes going the way I was going and he was all over that. So as I was getting closer I was trying to figure out how to pass him safely. Well between the lanes I was in and the other side lanes are the turning lanes, so I hopped halfway in them to stay a safe distance from him. After I passed him he started to speed up but I stayed a distance away from him. While paying attention to the road I wanted to keep an eye on him, just to be safe. I finally come up to the last light before getting to Chris`s job and there`s a gas station. He does not just turn, it looked more like he was in NASCAR, making a wide turn. We all know he was probably getting more beer. On the way back from taking him to work I come across another, yes another, Dumb driver. This time he was speeding so lucky I did not have to pass him. I lost him because he was going so fast.

I know a lot of you probably come across people like this once a week, or so. I am 18 years old and I am not saying I am the best driver, but I have a brain to know, if I even take a sip of a beer, or any drink to give my keys to a sober person that will not be drinking that night. Even if there was not a sober person, I would still know not to get into my truck and start driving. This is not for just my safety but for everyone else.

Imagine if you got into an accident and you killed someone and you lived all because you need more beer or something. I would not be able to live with myself. The excuse that they are young they will make mistakes does not apply to being behind a wheel or and car or truck.  This is serious and is no joke. You got your license, which makes you responsible to know about drunk driving.If you can`t be have someone else drive for you.


So many people loose there life over this and no body ever learns. When will people start using there heads. We are not cats with 9 lives. We only have one, and because of your choice of getting behind a car while being drunk and taking ones life to soon is not a joke. A sorry will not bring them back.

So please use your head before you start drinking, and think ahead.

Face paralysis

Okay, so I am going to start out by telling you all how it all got started. Like a mini story you can say.

So Last July I was out with my boyfriend and my best friend fishing. We decided to call it a night about 2 am. After we loaded up the truck everyone started to notice my lip was big (kind of like you have a dip in) so they asked me what I was dipping and I told them nothing. We pulled the truck over and they sat in the car and watched my lip grow a little bit bigger. We rushed home and my dad thought I was just biting my lip again and just to head to bed and show my mom when she wakes up in a few hours for work, I did that just like he said. When I showed my mom my lip was 10x bigger at this time ,not only that but i could not move the left side of my face. So she jumped in the truck and toke me to the nearest hospital. On the way, my face was getting so bad that it felt like my throat was started to swell up. So when we finally got to the hospital they saw me, gave me some time to take the swelling down, and called it Bells Palsy and sent me on my way and told me to see my family doctor in about a week. This was the start of a long journey!

Well a few days passed and the med`s they put me on just were not working, so we go to my doctor. He says there is no way this is Bells palsy, it does not swell it only causes paralysis. From there he sent me to many, many different doctors. At first they agree with him, run me to do lots of blood work (lets just say I am a 2 year old when it comes to my blood) and they all say they have no idea. Second trip to all these doctors and they tell me "Oh its bells palsy, go see this doctor."

Finally it went away, Just a few days before school, but heat cause my left side to swell.. So I started my senior year (suppose to be the best year of your life, well think again).  I was out on the school farm when the second episode happens. We run me up to the nurse, called my mom asap, and went right back to the same hospital and they said the same thing! My doctor this time shot me in the butt with medical for a whole week (I am not talking one shot a day, I am talking like 3 or 4). He tried again sending me to some good doctors but they played the same things as the other doctors. My so called friends started to go away too, they did not want to be seen with a girl who had to drink from a straw, hold her mouth open to eat, could not even smile the same, but that did not stop me. As I went on in school, I ended up getting other things, Like pains in my head (not headaches but pains ), blurry vision on my left side, and my hearing went in and out, and memory loss, a lot of it too. I was only showing up to school maybe once a week to gather work, and turn work into my classes. With the help of my mom and dad and my boyfriend and the rest of my family explaining things to me and helping me I was making all A`a and B`s. Well my face went back to normal but the pains stayed and so did the vision and hearing, so i went back to school more. I ended up going into surgery to remove a mass in my nose and it cleared it all up. I got my surgery in shands hospital

Finally I was back in school, and it happened again, On the farm once again. So this time we go to another hospital and they said they they do not know what I have, but i should go see a specialist and no place hospital in my county has the ability or equipment to tell me I have bells palsy. So i do as they say, and go back to one of the best hospitals in Florida. So I am back to one day a week at school and losing all my friends. I show up to school one day hanging out in attendance when the teacher asked me to go to the gym and give them coach this for a student. Well when I got down there and he looked at me while I started to talk he laughed at me, right in my face. (yeah it hurt a lot)  Well as I start to turn around he looks at a kid and says "wow shes a freak" I lost it , I went straight up to the office and called my dad, I wanted to drop out and be home school.. There was suppose to be a investigation but never happened like every time there is suppose to be one against him. Of course the bad guys always get away, he has done far worst then he has done to me. Finally I went back to school for no one else but me and my face went back to normal about a month ago.. I graduated  May 23 while all my fellow old friends and teachers who made fun of me watched me cry walking off that stage because they do not know they HELL I have been through and the selected few who believed in me saw me walk...

Its been a week since I have been out of school and I am in the process of looking for a job trying to work with animals or kids, because they do not judge and I love working with them. Right now my boyfriend is the one supporting me and helping my parents out and they help me when I need it.. They all want me to get the job of my dreams. That only when I can afford to open my own business but for now I just want to find something working for either of those. I have been through hell and I made it over one bridge i thought I was not Going to be able to this year, but I did it , and I was able to do it with a smile. Now I am looking for a job so I can live my dream of moving to Pennsylvania with my family and opening up my business. It`s going to be along rode but I know I can do it.

Okay I am going to tell you a little about myself and why I am making this page!

First my name is Summer and I am 18 years old. I just graduated from high school and have
found that my face paralyzes on and off about a whole year now and doctors after doctors have
no idea whats wrong with me. I love to be on the little farm we have, Cook, Write, and I love to laugh.

I figured I can make a page that combines all of that together.  Plus adding serious topics of my daily or weekly, overcoming people who have made fun of me or put me down, and how to overcome the struggle of daily life.
